Living in my own mind has not granted me the best experience with my mental health. I’ve been diagnosed with moderate depression and have been told (on occasion) that I seem a bit “crazy” for lack of better words.
Being called crazy isn’t new in this day and age. Hell, you can find various types of crazy people on sites like TikTok and Instagram (especially the reels). You know how you feel when you come across a reel that explains a feeling you thought was only relevant to you, right? Like the silent cry you make when you stub your toe? Or the anxiety you feel when the movie you're watching with your parents suddenly cuts to a sex scene?
Remembering this is how I came to my big conclusion: People are people and do human things. And in times like these-- the times where BBLs and heavily photoshopped pictures are the norm-- people seem to forget how human we actually are. I want to remind the world of that.
Sharing What I’ve Learned
How do I plan on spreading the truth about the world? By talking about uncomplicating the complications of business and finance. By giving all of you tips on how to make the most out of these VERY trying times. By talking about how to actually take care of your health instead of just promoting the many “supplements” peddled by today’s influencers. And the most important part of it all is that I'm building a community that welcomes people from all walks of life.
In the end, I'm hoping we can all learn from each other’s HUMAN experiences by talking about these things. Destroying the stigma about certain topics is only one part of many in my project to spread self-awareness, self-love, and appreciation for the world in which we live. Plus, I believe that life is entirely too short for people to get hung up on asking that guy out on a date (Like girl, take a chance for once!)
Destroying the stigma about these topics opens more minds to receiving and understanding other people’s experiences. See where I’m going with this? If we as a human race just accept people for who they are and focus on living our own lives, we will be so much happier and fulfilled. This is true even when dealing with assholes. You can watch them crash and burn their own fictional bikes while you ride past them, your helmet snugly strapped to your head.
Building a (Wonderful…IMO) Community
From my observations, the world has recently been focused on dividing itself among groups. While sometimes that makes sense for different species, it doesn’t quite make sense when human beings divide themselves up into rival groups.
The divide between the Republican and Democratic parties is an example of this that is far too prominent to deny. Instead of being focused on improving the world using ideas that they've agreed on, they use those same ideas to attack the “opposing group” (I will absolutely go more in-depth with this in a future blog post).
I say all of that to say this: It has become more important to be right in our own beliefs than to simply accept the beliefs of others and call it a day. That’s why I feel the world has become more tense.
It used to feel like we were all one back when Avengers: Endgame came out in the movie theaters (That was really an experience of a lifetime!). All across the world entire theaters exclaimed with joy when what happened, happened. (We don’t do unsolicited spoilers around here!)
This is what I mean to do with my blog. And I hope that, by sharing my ideas, some people will pick on and start to share them as well! I just know that there will come a time when I can look back at these posts and see how much we have all grown as a community, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Potential For Growth
I must confess that I’m not coming into the blog scene without any plans for myself. I am planning on starting and documenting my online entrepreneurship journey by creating this blog and connecting it to multiple sources of revenue. (You can do this too! I’ll be sure to include tips on how to do the same in future posts, so make sure you stay tuned)
This will not impact the quality of my posts. You will still see amazing articles here on my blog. I simply have to make a living for myself. So I’ll be making money through ads you’ll see here as well as the occasional link to an Amazon product I'll recommend to you all. I’ll also be selling merch and other goodies on my website which will be linked in future posts in case you’d like to support my entrepreneurship journey.
By including these ways to make revenue, I can provide inclusive content for my readers. I can even document bigger and better things in the future because, truthfully, most of everything costs money nowadays.
I've made it clear that I'm planning on creating a community of open-minded individuals like yourself. By doing this, I open myself up to potentially collaborating with other creators. Some of them might even be your favorites! To put it simply, all of the (hopefully not too annoying) ads and links you may see in your time here on my blog are only a means to an end.
All in all…
To sum everything up, I’ve made this blog because I’m passionate about spreading positivity. I think everyone in the world deserves respect. We all need to be able to live our lives without worrying about being cyberbullied. By the way, cyberbullies are the people who (in reality) can’t face their own shortcomings, so they resort to bullying.
Again, I’m hoping this blog turns into a community of open-minded people. What kind of people? (Well, really any… but) People who are interested in learning a different way to look at the world. This includes topics such as business, taking care of your mind and body, and ways to approach the world for more fulfillment in your life.
So welcome to EverybodyLovesLakyra.com. Everybody may not like me, but they have no choice but to love me because I’ll always be there for them and accept them for who they are. I hope you stay here for the long run, there’s plenty more content for you to enjoy.
If you’re interested in following up on the growth of this inclusive blog, you should definitely sign up for our post updates.
